German well rounded steel prongs pinch the dog instead of choking, therefore correcting stubborn dogs without damaging the dog's neck or throat. Normally the collar must hang loose around the dog's neck, you have to pull and release the lead in short sudden bursts. Only when pulling the lead the collar contracts. Light 12" long, extra links 1"; Medium 15" long, extra links 1 1/2"; Heavy 17" long, extra links 1 5/8"; Extra Heavy 19" long, extra links 1 3/4". The collar measurement is without any slack. Short, deliberate corrections will give you back control of your dog. Remember- Praise, Praise, Praise as soon as your dog responds to the correction!
