Canvasback's Kibble for K-9s

Hundreds of donations are made every year to Large Humane Society and other, well known shelters, but all too often our smaller local shelters are overlooked and forgotten.

Canvasback Pet Supplies started Kibble for K-9s in June of 2008 in an effort to help out the smaller, less known shelters. Funds donated go towards buying pet food at our cost, as well as Canadian Tire money can be used to help purchase essential every day supplies for the “shelter of the month”, which is nominated by other local shelters. Aside from providing food The Kibble for K-9s program also helps increase community awareness of animals in need and the shelters they call home.

So far funds have been raised to buy 64 bags of dogfood, 18 bags of cat litter, 80lbs of cat food and 7 bags of horse feed! That’s $3,675.66! Plus with your help we raised $2,448 in 2010 & $3,105 in 2012 at our Annual Adoption Day in September for a grand total of $9,268.66!
